As Barr Planning gears up for another year of growth, innovation and exciting projects, we’re thrilled to welcome aboard three dynamic individuals.  Meet Jack, Kelvin and Simon – the newest members of the Barr Planning team, each bringing a unique set of skills, fresh perspectives and a shared dedication to delivering successful planning projects. 

Jack Loughnan 
Joining our Sydney team, Jack is a passionate planner with additional customer service expertise, demonstrated by his strong organisational and time management skills. He has experience in planning consulting and is nearing completion of a Bachelor in Planning at Macquarie University.

Kelvin Chu
Kelvin is an energetic second-year planning student at the University of New South Wales. With a keen interest in strategic, transport, community, environmental, and biodiversity planning, urban design, and engagement, Kelvin brings fresh perspectives and a desire to delve into the intricacies of the NSW Planning system.

Simon O’Brien
With an honours Bachelor’s in Spatial Planning from the Technological University of Dublin, Simon joins the team as project planner. Starting from an internship at Armstrong Planning and contributing to diverse planning applications, Simon’s commitment to successful and collaborative projects perfectly aligns to the Barr Planning ethos. His experience spans from large residential estates to mixed-use apartment blocks, industrial developments, and retail projects, showcasing his versatility in the field.
