We are delighted to have assisted in receiving DA approval for ‘Latitude on Walter’ – A high-end residential and commercial building on the waterfront of Belmont. The nine-storey development will consist of 32 residential apartments, a roof top communal area, along with a commercial terrace on the ground floor. A key achievement for this project was receiving approval on height of the building which is 34m, a significant increase on the 22m standard, through careful analysis and justification of the design outcomes on a unique site which had public land on three sides. The proposed development while providing residential units in a desirable location will also provide a ground floor that will provide a place for people to meet on the waterfront at Belmont to enjoy the open space, views of Lake Macquarie and enhancement people’s enjoyment of the foreshore at Belmont.
