As part of a recent strategy day the Barr Property and Planning team had a site visit to the North Construction’s development of the 16 affordable housing units on Station Street, in Wickham.

This development will be operated by Compass Housing and will meet an important housing need within the Newcastle city.

As the town planners who worked on getting the DA for this project through council, the site visit provided a valuable experience for the team to see the plans come to life in three dimensions.

During our visit of the construction site our team were able to hear the challenges of the build and how the problems are solved. This opportunity gave us an appreciation of this part of the development process.
