Barr Planning Supports Lifeline: Ensuring Compliance for a Greater Cause

In the last twelve months Barr Planning has worked with renowned non-for-profit organization, Lifeline, to ensure the compliance of their retail op shops. Lifeline, dedicated to providing crucial support services to individuals in crisis, relies on the proceeds from their op shops to fund their life-saving programs, including counselling services and suicide prevention initiatives. 

Recognising the importance of Lifeline’s mission, we provided our expertise to ensure that the organization’s retail operations had the necessary approvals in place. By investigating each site, we identified the existing approved use or the planning approval pathway for 16 Boutique Retail Op ShopSpecialised retail premises and Warehouses, or telephone crisis support centres in locations around New South Wales and Victoria. Barr Planning then prepared Development Applications, and Complying Development Compliance Reports where needed, to ensure that premises could operate to meet planning requirements. 

We are proud to have assisted Lifeline in achieving compliance and contributing to the sustainability of their operations and, ultimately, the continuation of their life-saving services.
