On Friday, Rob Dwyer represented Barr Planning at the St Philip’s Christian Education Golf Classic, where Barr Planning was proud to participate as a major sponsor, supporting the event as the Breakfast Sponsor.

The Golf Classic raises funds for SPCC’s Young Parents College, an inspiring initiative that provides teenage parents with the opportunity to continue their education. The College plays a crucial role in helping young parents overcome the barriers they often face in completing their studies, giving them the confidence and skills to pursue further education and vocational goals.

In addition to supporting this cause through the Golf Classic, Barr Planning has also had the privilege of contributing to the delivery of a Development Consent for the new SPCC Young Parents School in Wyong. The new school and its ancillary Early Learning Centre will provide a custom-designed space to support up to 30 young parents and 32 children, creating a nurturing environment that enables young families to learn, grow, and succeed together.

By supporting the Young Parents College, Barr Planning continues its commitment to empowering communities through education and opportunity — a cause we are proud to stand behind.

Rob was joined by Danielle Nicol, Will Crittenden and Ciaran Walker-Healion from Groundswell Engineers for the Ambrose competition. While Team Barr didn’t take out the win on the day, they enjoyed a great game together filled with laughter, teamwork, and a few memorable moments — including a too-close encounter with a snake on the course!

⭐ Shot of the Day went to Danielle on Hole 1, where she hit a cracker of a shot off the tee — her ball skimming over the top of the lake, bouncing, and landing perfectly on the fairway!
