Barr Planning is pleased to have assisted Scott PDI Pty Ltd in securing approval for the rezoning of land at Port Macquarie from Rural to Industrial, supporting the delivery of an approved Highway Service Centre.
The rezoning will enable development that services existing highway traffic while creating employment opportunities and economic benefits for the local area. Importantly, the project has facilitated additional infrastructure investment, including upgrades to local road networks and sewer services that will benefit the broader community.
Barr Planning worked closely with the project team and Port Macquarie–Hastings Council throughout the strategic planning and rezoning process to achieve a positive outcome aligned with local and regional planning objectives.
