Barr Planning was proud to support St Philip’s Christian College (SPCC) in securing development consent for a new two‑storey Young Parents School and Early Learning Centre in Wyong. Our involvement included providing early planning advice and supporting the College throughout the development application process for this important social and educational infrastructure project.

The development included:

• Demolition of the current premises
• Construction of a purpose-built, modern two‑storey educational facility for the SPCC Young Parents School
• An integrated Early Learning Centre providing high‑quality care for children of enrolled young parents
• Contemporary, flexible learning spaces designed to support completion of the HSC
• A layout tailored to the unique needs of young parents and their children

This $4.56M investment by St Philip’s Christian College will provide young parents with a supportive, dedicated learning environment, while ensuring their children receive nurturing care close by. With teen pregnancy rates on the Central Coast higher than in Greater Sydney, the project represents a significant step forward in breaking cycles of disadvantage and supporting brighter futures for young families in the region.
