Barr Planning is pleased to have assisted Scott PDI in securing approval for the rezoning of land at Port Macquarie from Rural to Industrial, enabling the delivery of an approved Highway Service Centre.

This project represents an important opportunity to support existing highway traffic while delivering employment opportunities and economic benefits for the local area. The rezoning provides a planning framework that allows the site to respond to demand generated by the Pacific Highway, strengthening service provision for both travellers and the surrounding region.

In addition to supporting the Highway Service Centre, the development has facilitated key infrastructure upgrades, including local road works and improvements to sewer services, delivering benefits beyond the site itself.
