The project has received State Significant Development approval, enabling the delivery of a large‑scale employment‑generating estate with regional freight and logistics significance.

Barr Planning’s involvement included guidance through the SSD approvals framework, coordination of technical studies, and strategic planning input to support a robust and well‑considered assessment process.

HCLE will play an important role in strengthening industrial capacity and long‑term economic outcomes for the Lower Hunter region.
