Over the last four years Barr Planning and the University of Newcastle have partnered together to provide Leading Agenda events throughout Newcastle.

These networking events have become a platform where industry leaders, business managers, MBA & WiMBA students meet to discuss the role of Leadership in driving the future of the Hunter.

Due to the pandemic and the cancelation of in person events, the Leaders and the Future article was developed to continue to provide this guidance and knowledge.

This article has been produced with the contribution from previous Leading Agenda guest speakers, obtaining their current perspectives and future trend expectations as leaders in the Hunter.

The following questions were asked:

• As a leader what has been the biggest challenge your business has faced in the last few years?
• What are the future trends that you predict that will affect us globally, nationally and regionally?
