Connecting with the Next Generation of Planners at UNSW

Barr Planning was pleased to attend the UNSW BPC Practice Year Industry Night last week, with Director Rebecca Johnston and Senior Planner Tim Campelj representing the team.

The event brought together planning students and industry professionals, providing a valuable opportunity to discuss career pathways, share insights into the planning profession and connect with students preparing for their Practice Year placements.

As a long-time supporter of emerging planning professionals, Barr Planning was proud to showcase our 2027 Student Placement opportunity and speak with students about the experience, mentorship and project exposure they can expect as part of our team.

We believe investing in the next generation of planners is an investment in the future of our profession. Events like the UNSW BPC Practice Year Industry Night are a great way to build meaningful connections, encourage future talent and provide students with a better understanding of the diverse and rewarding career opportunities available in town planning.
