Barr Property and Planning were delighted to have assisted Heritage College Lake Macquarie with obtaining DA approval for a new two storey classroom building.

The project required us to work closely with bush fire consultants, an arborist, disability access consultant and the school’s architect to overcome challenges associated with maintaining asset protection zones for bushfire, while maximising tree retention, to satisfy Council requirements relating to amenity and biodiversity connectivity.
